Information regarding COVID-19
29/5/20: Doldowlod Caravan Park remains closed to holiday home owners, holiday guests and visitors until further notice. The latest Welsh Government Directive is that the lock-down will continue until at least June 21st and there will be a further review by the Welsh Government on June 18th. Please be aware that the time table for easing the lock-down measures may be different in Wales than it is in other parts of the UK. In Wales the maximum distance that people are permitted to travel is 5 miles.
As of 23rd March 2020,The Prime Minister has directed that everyone in the UK must stay at home other than to get food or medical supplies, to exercise once a day and to go to & from essential work. The governments in both Westminster and Wales have passed the emergency powers (Corona Virus Bill) which will enable the police to enforce these measures.
Following this direction and in order to keep everyone safe, we have blocked all availability for new holiday bookings at the park until May 8th and we have suspended all existing bookings for this period. The park owners will review the situation in respect of bookings for later in the 2020 season as new government directives are made. We have already contacted all affected guests about their suspended bookings. If you have not heard from us please check your spam box. Please refer to your booking terms.
20th March 2020 Throughout the last couple of weeks, we have been closely monitoring the development of the COVID-19 situation. We know that this is a worrying time, so we would like to tell you about the steps we’re taking at Oak Grove Retreats to ensure that our holiday accommodations continue to be a safe and
relaxing place for you to visit.
Our priority is the well-being of both our holiday customers and Doldowlod Caravan Park's holiday home owners. We are following government advice and guidelines regarding COVID-19
and have implemented the steps advised by the public health authorities. We are working tirelessly to continue to offer holidays with as little disruption as possible and with health and safety in mind with every decision we take.
We aim to be ‘open as usual’ during this difficult time but it is imperative that we all do everything we can to help stop the spread of COVID-19 so we are asking that you work with us to
keep our park as safe as possible.
We are being extra vigilant when it comes to hygiene this includes additional cleaning of surfaces, handles and all facilities.
We are providing soap and cleaning materials in our accommodations for your use.
We are washing accommodation laundry on a hot wash & a long cycle and using additional laundry sanitiser.
We hope that you will still enjoy a peaceful time in the great outdoors but please be aware that neither holiday guests nor caravan owners should visit Doldowlod Caravan Park if they or their family have symptoms of
COVID-19, or have been advised to isolate, until after the isolation period.
If your upcoming holiday is affected by the COVID-19 situation we will offer the option for you to change your holiday dates without paying our normal administration fee so
please don’t hesitate to contact us on 07977784316.
We are implementing social distancing measures which means no physical contact & keeping our distance when checking you in and out of your holiday accommodation & when we see you around the park. Please be assured that you
are as warmly welcome as ever.
We appreciate that things are ever evolving. We are monitoring the situation closely and taking prompt action as government advice changes. We will update this page as and
when any changes are made that directly affect you, our guests.
