Safe-Guarding Your CHILDREN is our priority
We’ll do everything that we can to keep you and your little ones safe but when your children are at our park they are still your responsibility
at all times: you must make sure that they are safe & supervised.
KILL YOUR SPEED NOT A CHILD
We have a 5 mile per hour speed limit throughout the park which is strictly enforced. Guests breaking the speed limit will be asked to remove their vehicle from the park. Please be aware that we do not allow bikes to be ridden up and down the road through the park. If you are planning to bring bikes then we can tell you about safe cycle routes off park.
Bringing a Baby:
need a cot, changing mattress or a highchair, you need to ask for it when you book and
we’ll do our best to get you one. They are subject to availability so you may wish to check that we can provide them before you book. A hire charge of £5 per item is payable on arrival and a £10 deposit per item is required which will be returned to you at the
end of your holiday. While our static caravans are quite spacious they
won’t be able to fit a standard sized travel cot in the bedrooms. The
majority of our guests find that the living room is the best place to
put them. NB. Our baby equipment is only available for guests booking static caravans. As a peaceful park you can be sure that we respect children's bed-times and if you report noise nuisance it will be promptly dealt with by the management.
Please supervise your children to ensure that they are safe when playing. You must ensure that your children are not playing around other people's holiday homes or in & around the waste disposal area. Whilst everyone wants children to have a good time please remember that our holidays are aimed at people who want a peaceful stay so do be aware of your children's noise levels to ensure that they are not disturbing other guests.
Railway Restoration Carriages
We are an old station site and we have two carriages located on track away from the camping area. We know that children will be very interested to see them but please go with your children and ensure that they do not stray off the path. For safety reasons both the railway track and the carriages are strictly off limits.
No ball games/similar
We are a peaceful location and for that reason we do not allow ball games or similar activities anywhere on the park. This is because they disturb other guests & have caused damage to caravans in the past.
We are located across a gated meadow 150 yards from the River Wye. There is also a small steam running through the park (it usually only has a few inches of water in it but in wet weather it can rise to 2 or 3 feet very quickly). Please ensure that your children are safe and supervised at all times.
